Marciano Martinez is a plein air artist specializing in watercolor, acrylic and oil paints. He enjoys painting scenes from nature and the environment, and has a keen ability to portray the exact feeling of the moment in time he paints. He is a retired art professor from Fullerton college after 41 years of teaching. He earned a MFA from Claremont Graduate School and a BAED from The College of Arts from Oakland Ca. He received his water color training and influences from George Post, Milford Zornes, Millard Sheets, Rex Brandt and Robert E Wood among others. His work is collected by art collectors throughout the US as well as Latin America, Europe and Japan. He has been featured by American Artist for water color and has been on TV showcasing his talents. He has demonstrated and shown his art at many different museums, Galleries, community centers and restaurants including the Claremont Forum, The Ontario Art Museum and The Millard Sheets Art Center at the LA County Fair.
